Mission
Our mission at Saint Vincent Elementary School is to:
Vision
Saint Vincent Elementary School and its community believe that the success of its children is a collective responsibility. It is a partnership, which actively involves the child, the school, and the home. We strive to help our students achieve to the best of their abilities and to instill in them the lifelong love of learning.
At Saint Vincent Elementary School, we provide a positive and cooperative learning environment. Our family fosters respect, responsibility, and safety.
We promote the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to succeed and prepare for future challenges and opportunities. We encourage this through a stimulating environment.
General Information
Saint Vincent Elementary School is an English school of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board. We have a population of 340 students, from Kindergarten to Cycle 3 (Grade 1 to Grade 6). Saint Vincent Elementary School has two different centres. The Saint Jacques centre hosts all students from kindergarten to grade 2. The Concorde centre hosts all students from grade 3 to grade 6. Transportation and daycare are organized for all students at Saint Vincent, regardless of the centre they attend.
Zone Map click here
The map describing the attendance zone for this school is intended to provide a general overview of the territory this school serves. Parents must contact the school in question in order to confirm admissibility to the requested school or visit the school board website and use the Find My School option on the main page.
Parent Participation
The Governing Board meets once a month. It represents a decision-making body which, via the introduction of a management dynamic between the institution and the school board, gives schools the leeway they need to meet the educational needs of all students. The St-Vincent Governing Board is made of parents and staff members.
Home and School | Volunteering: The Home and School committee is a dedicated group of parents who are committed to helping and enriching our school life. All students at SVES benefit from the helping hands of volunteers like you. Volunteers help us make MANY events possible. Without our dedicated group of Home & School committee members and the SVES volunteers, a great number of events would not be possible.
